Our Past :
In 2004 Emma Sammes recognised a gap in what was on offer in Whitianga as regards accommodation for holiday makers and long & short term rentals so Property Management Services opened for business. Emma saw this gap as the perfect opportunity to enhance what she could offer so in conjunction with her small portfolio of holiday homes and permanent rentals she complimented her business with a professional and friendly ‘all in one’ property management service to both local and absentee property owners. As a natural follow on to the property management side of things 2005 saw our cleaning company evolve, this has now grown into a 4 star rated cleaning service, with a great team of housekeepers on board.
Naturally the past 8 years has brought about many changes, one of them being a name change to Property Management Whitianga, we felt this clearly identify our locality therefore enforcing our expertise in property management in our beautiful location here on the Coromandel Peninsula.
In those 8 years we have been fortunate to have experienced steady growth to our portfolio of properties and we are still proudly and firmly established as a reputable privately owned property management company here in Whitianga. We could not of reached the point where we are at today without the input from the great staff we have had over these past 8 years and it is with great respect and appreciation we acknowledge the efforts and significant hard work and dedication of Carol Black who took over the helm of the business in 2006, Carol worked tirelessly ensuring the continuing growth and success of the business and brought it to the point it has reached today.

There will always be challenges ahead of all of us but it is with eager anticipation we look forward to meeting the ones we are going to be given as we continue on with the high standards and work ethic we have been given by Emma & Carol, armed with these attributes we are confident of further growth and of maintaining our valuable profile in the property manager industry.

 I have been living in Whitianga with my husband and two children since 2003. We absolutely love it and think everyone should at least come her once to visit this special place.
My background is in teaching and before that I was in the Police force.

Loretta Guthrie – Office Administrator
 Auckland born, spent 6 years travelling overseas prior to buying my own home in Whitianga in 2006. Sound hospitality experience, managed motel for 2 years and worked in many pubs and hotels while travelling in Uk, Ireland & Scotland, strong office administration background in a variety of industries.
Enthusiastic and proud to be in employment that enables me to promote Whitianga – I love living here ! Interests : yoga, I love animals & nature, cooking, enjoy having visitors stay, keen traveller (although my backpack has been exchanged these days for a poodle & 2 cats).
